EP Shanghai:MAC CNC busbar machine leads the innovation of power manufacturing

As the oldest and most internationalized professional exhibition in China’s power industry, the Shanghai International Electric Power Equipment and Technology Exhibition is jointly sponsored by the China Electricity Council, State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, and organized by Yashi Exhibition Services Co., Ltd. The exhibition area is 86,000 square meters, bringing together more than 2,000 exhibitors and brands from around the world, covering the entire power industry chain technology equipment. The exhibition is themed “Green, Intelligent, Efficient and Sustainable”, focusing on the “Dual Carbon” goal and the construction of a new power system. For the first time, an energy storage and hydrogen energy exhibition area was added to promote the “source-grid-load-storage” full-chain ecological layout, attracting representatives from institutions including State Grid, Huaneng Group, and the Global Energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization, as well as international exhibition groups to participate.

As a leading domestic company in high-end CNC busbar processing equipment, MAC brought a number of independently developed intelligent busbar processing equipment and solutions to this exhibition (booth number: N3-A12). With “Intelligent Manufacturing Empowers the Future of Electricity” as the core theme, it fully demonstrated its technological breakthroughs in the fields of precision manufacturing, automation upgrades and green production of power equipment.

The MX602K-8C CNC busbar processing machine exhibited by MAC integrates Internet of Things technology, supports the punching, shearing, bending, embossing and other full-process processing of copper and aluminum busbars, and realizes parametric programming through a 21-inch PC. The error accuracy is controlled within ±0.1 mm, which is 40% more efficient than traditional processes. The equipment adopts the German Beckhoff PLC control system and the German Rexroth servo motor to achieve closed-loop control, with fault self-diagnosis and remote monitoring functions, and is suitable for high-precision processing needs in the fields of high and low voltage switchgear, transformers, energy storage equipment, etc.

In response to the rapid development of the energy storage industry, MAC launched the MX602K-8C CNC busbar punching and shearing machine. The equipment adopts a 9-position in-line die library design, supports fast switching between punching and shearing of multiple models, and its “intelligent residual material management system” optimizes the cutting path to increase the copper material utilization rate to more than 98%, effectively reducing resource waste. Its patented hydraulic system (patent number: ZL201320804568.X) and ductile iron die frame design significantly improve the equipment durability and processing consistency.

MAC’s enclosed CNC母線折彎機 uses high-precision servo motors and ball screw drives, supports vertical bending, flat bending, twisting and other complex processes, the CNC bending angle error is ≤0.1°, and it is adapted to various busbar specifications through modular design. The equipment is equipped with an industrial Internet interface and can be connected to the factory MES system to achieve real-time synchronization of production data and process optimization, helping customers build unmanned production lines.

On the first day of the exhibition, the MAC booth became the focus of Hall N3. The technical team of State Grid, representatives of the German Electric Power Equipment Association and heads of Korean energy storage companies stopped to exchange ideas and showed great interest in its fully automatic busbar processing production line. On-site, an intention to purchase energy storage equipment processing lines from a provincial company of the Southern Power Grid was reached, and a strategic cooperation agreement was signed with an energy group in Southeast Asia, planning to jointly build an overseas busbar processing demonstration center.

During the exhibition, MAC Chief Technology Officer Robin was invited to attend the “Green Energy and Intelligent Equipment Summit Forum” and delivered a keynote speech entitled “CNC Technology Drives the Upgrade of New Power Systems”. He pointed out: “The precision and flexible production of power equipment is the cornerstone of building a new power system. Lijian CNC has achieved the transformation from a single equipment supplier to an overall solution provider for intelligent manufacturing through the dual engines of “process + data”. During the forum, MAC and North China Electric Power University jointly released the “2025 Busbar Processing Intelligent White Paper”, proposing a new industry standard of “AI Quality Inspection + Digital Twin”.

As a high-tech enterprise with more than ten national patents, MAC has been deeply involved in the field of busbar processing machine manufacturing for nearly 20 years.
